Here are a few troubleshooting tips that might work:
First, make sure that the folders where your files are located are correctly set to be indexed by CDS. Menu Tools -> Options -> Files tab. Check out Emails & Organizer tab for Emails.
By default, Copernic Desktop Search is indexing when your computer is not in use and when the CPU is not overloaded. If other programs or tasks are running and they are using a lot of CPU (more or less than 50%), CDS will not start indexing. CDS is also designed to run continuously on your computer.
Here a trick to quickly update your index:
Tools -> Index Performance -> Choose Unrestricted.
CDS might just need time to index.
