I only realised today as a result of searching for a file from several years ago that Copernic does not seem to index the Author, Copyright and Description fields in TIF images but does so perfectly well for jpgs. This is a real nuisance as I have many tif files but when I search for one that contains a particular word in its description it doesn't get found if it is a TIF, whereas all jpgs snap up on the screen very rapisdly.
I think Copernic is brilliant but for me the TIF issue is a big problem.
Any ideas?

The two screen shots show the outcome for two identical files, one saved as a jpg and then the same one saved as a tif. Note the 'missing' fields for the TIF.
