Can Copernic recognize Affinity Publisher files or the text within the files?

It should recognize the file NAME without problems. Indexing the contents is presumably another matter: Have you Tried?
Does the file Extension used by AffPub show on CDS's list of supported file types?
If NOT, try Adding it (the file extension) and see whether CDS picks up the contents. (Actually did that with a Now Forgotten file extension and it worked reasonably well...)
