I've always used the "smart" indexing performance option with no problems: indexing is continuous and I saw no effect on performance in other programs.
Yesterday I upgraded to v 8.3.4, and now this same option causes Copernic Plugins Service to use over 95% of my system memory, which obviously affects on other programs running. The problem doesn't manifest itself in the "restricted" option, but then indexing is paused for 99% of the time, i.e. when you're using your computer.
1. Is this a known problem?
2. Is it indeed related to the upgrade to 8.3.4?
3. Is there a solution other than using the "restricted" option?

Correction: the problem now also arises with the option "restricted"", to the extent that my PC is no longer usable when resource use goes to 98%.. I still think it's related to the latest update. Is there a way to go back to a previous version?
