Copernic Desktop Search Mozilla® Firefox™ extension

Modified on Mon, 5 May at 11:59 AM

To index the bookmarks and history of Mozilla ® Firefox an extension is needed.

The extension file is included in the installer package and can be installed manually using the XPI file in this location: C:\Program Files\Copernic\DesktopSearch\FirefoxConnector

When the indexation of Mozilla® Firefox bookmarks and/or history is activated, the extension will be automatically detected at next launch of Mozilla® Firefox ™, and you will be prompted to allow the installation via the Add-on tab.

You can manually enable the Copernic Desktop Search Connector via Mozilla ® Firefox .

    • In the Firefox menu, click Add-ons.
    • Select the Extensions tab.
    • Click Enable for the extension Copernic Desktop Search Connector.
NOTE: MOZILLA® FIREFOX NEEDS TO BE OPENED TO BE INDEXED.
NOTE: THIS MAY TAKE FIVE MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE FORCE AN UPDATE TO SEE YOUR NEW BOOKMARKS AND/OR HISTORY FOR MOZILLA® FIREFOX.
