Latest version of Copernic does not start normally. After the splash screen it crashes. After re-installation and inserting the licence key it picks up indexing from where it crashed, but crashes as soon as one starts a search. Have re-installed many times. Problem could not be solved.

I see Tony from Technical Support responded privately via our messaging system. I have included his advice below for others that might experience this:
Your indexing queue seems to be broken.
You can work around the issue by clearing your indexing queue.
1) Simply exit the software with the tray icon (Right click on the tray icon > Exit) 2) Open the following folder: C:\Users\**your username**\AppData\Local\Copernic\DesktopSearch\Index\Queue\ and delete the Queue folders and its content. 3) Now restart CDS (Copernic Desktop Search) and it should be working again.
If the issue persists, that's probably because the index is corrupted so in this case you will need to recreate a new index. Repeat the steps 1-3 but this time delete the whole INDEX folder so it will be automatically recreated.
