Words not found in index of PST files

Hi,

I'm running Copernic Desktop Search version 8.3.1 (Build 16652) on Windows 11. Recently I've been having issues finding words within my many old and new outlook PST files. Yesterday I decided to reset the index and it has completed this overnight, just finishing now. When I search for single words that I know should appear in old e-mails, it doesn't return responses within these old PST's. Looking on my Copernic Options under Emails & Organizer, it has all of the PSTs presently open on my Outlook client, as well as all of the PST files from 2003 through to today.

Does anyone  what would cause this type of behaviour? I've been running Copernic for many years, and this is a new issue for me.

Thanks

Shane

Same, I've "fully" indexed a PST file (CDS no longer showing it's actively indexing that file) yet it doesn't show certain emails that I know are there because I see those missing ones when I open the PST file through outlook directly.

Now, CDS not fully complete indexing all items because I added a couple of new PST files for CDS to index, and it's actively indexing the new files right now, but there's no indication it's not done indexing the first PST since I had that one running for several days already. So how do I know if it's actually done indexing and not able to find those emails, versus it's just not done indexing the first PST?

I think (it's going back a way) what I found in the end, was that the PST files were open in Outlook as I had always done, but the new version of Copernic wants you to only add PST files to the Tools -> Options -> Emails and Organizer setting. Once I did that, I believe the indexing worked.
