The user can display the main interface of Copernic with a simple shortcut.
Enable the keyboard shortcut :
- In the Tools menu, click Options.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- In the Others section, check the option Enable keyboard shortcut (press Ctrl key twice).
- Click Back to main view or Escape key to confirm and close the Options window.
- Select the Advanced tab.
NOTE: THIS OPTION IS ENABLED BY DEFAULT. YOU MUST HIT THE KEYBOARD KEY CTRL TWICE TO OPEN THE MAIN INTERFACE OF COPERNIC.
Enable keyboard shortcut Alternative method
Some computer will interpret a mouse scroll as a "Ctrl" command, causing the main interface to appear while they use the mouse scroll. Enabling this option will allow the user to avoid mouse interference with the Ctrl + Ctrl shortcut.
Enable the keyboard shortcut:
- In the Tools menu, click Options...
- Select the Advanced tab.
- In the Others section, check the option (Alternative method) Enable this option if the application window opens when the mouse scrolls..
- Click Back to main view or Escape key to confirm and close the Optionswindow.
NOTE: THIS OPTION CAN ONLY BE ENABLE WHEN THE PARENT OPTION "ENABLE KEYBOARD SHORTCUT" IS ENABLE
