Example: I select Word documents as a filter and type "bloqueo" in the search box. I check that several of the files listed in the results also contain the word "embargo".
I then enter "embargo" in the search box, and get NO DOCUMENTS FOUND (!).

I see Francis from Technical Support responded privately via our messaging system. There was a bit of back and forth so I have copied some of the troubleshooting tips for others that may be experiencing the same issue.
It seems that your license file must be re-imported in Copernic desktop Search.
Try the following.
Your license file needs to be imported into Copernic.
Therefore, please open Copernic Desktop Search, go to Extensions in the menu. Once inside the Extensions Tab, please click on Import license file.
Use the CDS 7 license file you already own.
First, I suggest to manually delete the license keys located on this default path.
1- Exit Copernic Desktop Search. 2- Go to C:\ProgramData\Copernic\DesktopSearch 3- Delete all license keys. (The folder may be already empty) 4- Start Copernic Desktop Search. 5- Import the license file. 6- Make sure the license key extensions are/is checked as: Enabled, in the extensions setting pane of Copernic Desktop Search.
Did you purchase the program, or are you running the Free Lite version ?
The non licensed version will not index the file content of pdf, Word, Excel, etc.. documents.
On my side, I'm not able to retrieve your serial number with your first name, last name or email address.
It seems you do not own a licensed version of Copernic Desktop Search.
