The Copernic helpdesk did come up with a solution. After deleting the index and queue maps and generating a new index CDS works fine.
Thanks for your help

Hi Marc,
Unfortunately, version 5 is not supported anymore. I would suggest to try restarting your computer first then Desktop Search, and if the problem persist, I would suggest to uninstall the software and then reinstall it (by keeping your index and profile first) and if it still crashes, then your profile might be corrupted so you may need a full reinstall from scratch.
After a power crash of my PC Copernic Desktop Search (5.2.1.9280) doesn't start properly and shows the attached error message.
How can I fix it?
