1- When I use a chain of letters or numbers found in the start of a word contained in my emails, the search show me all matching emails.
2- But, When I use a chain of letters or numbers found in the middle or the last of the same word used in the first search, the search don't show me any emails.
I see Francis from Technical Support responded privately via our messaging system. I have included his response below should others have a similar question:
Copernic Desktop Search is working with prefix search.
Research by prefix: Find a word that begins with a prefix
Example: Keyword: Ball Results you can expect: Ball, Balloon, Ballet Results that won't be found: Baseball, racketball, volleyball
Search is the same thing with numbers, so you really need to enter the full word or the beginning of this word.
Hi,
I am mainly focusing on emails search.
1- When I use a chain of letters or numbers found in the start of a word contained in my emails, the search show me all matching emails.
2- But, When I use a chain of letters or numbers found in the middle or the last of the same word used in the first search, the search don't show me any emails.
Thanks
