Since upgrading to version 8.3.2 of Copernic Desktop Search, I've been experiencing a recurring issue with the indexing of new files. The index reaches 99% and never completes, even after leaving the computer on for up to 72 hours. This problem didn’t occur with version 8.3.1, where indexing worked flawlessly.
Here are the details of the issue:
The PC remains powered on for extended periods, but the indexing never finishes.
New files are not being added correctly to the index.
I haven't noticed any error messages or abnormal behavior beyond the stalled indexing.
I’d like to know if there’s any fix in progress for this issue or if there’s something I can do to temporarily resolve it.
Additionally, is it possible to downgrade to version 8.3.1? I couldn’t find a way to download previous versions on the Copernic website.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards, Marcio.
