Just happened about an hour ago. My extensions expire 2/2021 so not the issue. i.e. Word docs etc can not find. Have extensions says "active" but verification server down. My internet is working fine on a cox gigablast service.
Apparently, we have an issue with our
registration server right now (looks like it started yesterday May 12th, 2020)
which is causing problems with online authentication and offline activation
too.
If you have that problem authenticating your license, please
don't submit a ticket as we already received hundreds and we are aware of the
issue.
We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience and I wanted to let you
know our technical support is currently working hard in order to resolve this
issue.
Thanks very much for your understanding.
Best regards,
-------------------------
Cordialement,

We will have to wait until Canada wakes up, someone notices something is wrong and will fix this. Is it a global problem, or is it just Europeans here?

Same here. Renewal is up in 1 month, so if this doesn't get fixed then I will cancel.

If it works again: does it help to prevent the program from accessing the internet again to prevent this validation problem a next time? For Copernic you then use an offline computer.

Yep, was me. It worked for several minutes but then crashed again. So I have deleted the post and opened a ticket, too.

Same here. I already had it a few weeks ago, and it occurred again yesterday. I entered all the license numbers again, and re-indexed, and this morning the same message came.
After a few other problems with broken indexing queues, I am now definitely going to stop using Copernic, after many years of smooth and uninterrupted service. A real pity.

Same issue - and as noted earlier the message is not a clear - if you click "continue" your index is cleaned - which has just happened to me. I am a long time Copernic user - but you guys really need to lift your game if you want us to stick around. You have a good product - which you seem to keep buggering up. Any suggestions for a similar but more reliable replacement program?
